Poketto Monsutā Ji Orijin plot

Rivals Red and Green are summoned by Professor Oak to fill the Pokédex, a portable encyclopedia of information about the Pokémon. They will do this by traveling through the Kanto region, where different types of Pokémon live. Meanwhile, they take on powerful gym leaders and a notorious top criminal. The plot of the miniseries follows the Pokémon games Red and Green, the very first games in the franchise.

Nice mini-series, which, in contrast to the regular series, is more faithful to the original Pokémon games. Certain scenes are literally taken from Red, Blue and Green. It's also all a bit more mature than the regular series, if you can call it that. It's just a shame there are so few episodes. Between Pallet Town (episode 1) and Lavender Town (episode 2), there are quite a few hours of fun in the games.
