Sōdo Āto Onrain plot
In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released. Players here control their avatars through a technology called Nerve Gear. One day, the players discover that they can't log out anymore, because the game's creator keeps them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival begins now.

This series had so much potential, but the quality deteriorated even faster than with The Walking Dead. Bizarrely poorly written with very strange, uninspired characters and remarkable plot twists. For the people unfamiliar with Japanese anime, pass it up. For those who are familiar with Japanese anime, know what you're getting into.
