The Jetsons plot
The Jetsons is an animated sitcom that shows the American culture and lifestyle of the future. Intelligent robots, aliens, holograms and bizarre inventions pass by. At the center is the Jetson family, with father George Jetson at the head. The other family members are mother Jane, daughter Judy, son Elroy, household robot Rosey and the robot dog Astro.

One of the regular shows I watched after dinner on Cartoon Network as a kid (along with Flintstones, Addams Family, Powerpuff Girls, and Looney Tunes I believe). I personally thought this was the least series of that list, but I do have very good memories of this. That intro movie alone was great. Hanna-Barbera delivered beautiful material in the 20th century.
Funny to see how people thought about the future at the time. A number of inventions have become reality, but of course some ideas make no sense and are even outdated. The drawing style is simple American and I personally find it very nice to look away. Maybe watch an episode again soon, to reminisce about nostalgia.
Man, how I missed Cartoon Network when it suddenly disappeared from most television packages in the Netherlands...
