Stingray plot
Stingray, a highly advanced submarine built for speed and maneuverability. Stingray is the flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, WASP, a 21st century security organization located in Marineville in the year 2065. In the event of an attack, the entire city could disappear with hydraulic legs underground. Marineville is 20 miles inland. Stingray is launched from the city through a tunnel that leads directly to the Pacific Ocean. Stingray's pilot is Captain Troy Tempest. He is aided by navigator "Phones", so named for his ability to mimic hydrophone sounds. They get their orders from wheelchair-bound commander Sam Shore, whose daughter Atlanta Shore is also a WASP employee.
