DCI Banks plot
'DCI Banks' is a British crime series about Alan Banks, a policeman from southern England, who is transferred to northern Yorkshire. More than 10 years after the first episode I am introduced to this series and that is definitely a stroke of luck.
The figure of Banks is easy to place and the intrigue in which very often two murder cases are related and eventually become entwined is fascinating to follow.
Maybe I'll find another season and see if the good is confirmed.

What Will Survive Part 1
A world of drink, drugs, and prostitution this time.
All DCs are busy this time.
Exciting again this time.
On to part 2
What Will Survive Part 2
A strange and unexpected twist in the whole affair.
DC Helen didn't give up easily, and reconstructed a few things.
and came to the correct conclusion and the perpetrator.
Amidst all the commotion, the mother of DCI Alan Banks also passes away.
And Dad was not an easy person towards his son Alan.
Buried Part 1
Murder of a prominent lawyer, family troubles.
multiple deaths, infidelity to the faith.
extramarital affairs etc. etc.
Curious about part 2 again
Buried Part 2
great ending again
Some private details are surfacing, including those concerning Helen.
Everything is being resolved again, just as I hadn't expected.
Ghosts Part 1
Student with knowledge of chemistry is found dead.
It turns out that ecstasy pills have something to do with it.
This is going to be a complicated job.
DC Helen with marital problems, DC Annie also relationship problems with the Ex
and DCI Alan problems with his father.
How complex do you want it to be?
On to part 2
Ghosts Part 1
It's all very complex, but really well executed.
It turned out to be structured very differently again than what we had expected for the most part.
Once again, a romantic as well as dramatic/sad ending.
which brings a tear to Alan's eye.
Once again, I rate this entire season 4 with a solid 4*
