All in the Family plot

All in the Family is about a family consisting of father Archie Bunker, mother Edith, daughter Gloria and her husband Michael Stivic. Father Archie considers himself a liberal person who has nothing against colored people, as long as they don't live near him. He also believes that women are best suited to the household and kitchen. His wife Edith does not excel in intelligence and has completely conformed to the role model imposed on her by Archie. She is the one who, on the one hand, often irritates Archie immensely with her comments and high, shrill voice, but on the other hand can always adjust him again.
