Hwang Dong-Man is an aspiring director and the only one of the famous film group "The Eight" who has not yet made his debut. He tries not to let himself be carried away by feelings of worthlessness. Byeon Eun-A works as a producer for Choi Film. She is called "The Axe" because of her sharp reviews of screenplays. She hides her anger and fears. Park Kyeong-Se is a film director. He is particularly influenced and stressed by Hwang Dong-Man after his recent film flopped in theaters. Ko Hye-Jin is the CEO of Gobak Film and married to Park Kyeong-Se. Hwang Jin-Man is Hwang Dong-Man's older brother and former poet. After experiencing the end of his incompetence, he feels empty. These different individuals try to find their own inner peace in a world where success seems to be the only measure.
