We Zijn Weer Thuis plot
The widow Nel van der Hoed-Smulders has a fortune, several million from the estate of the father of her youngest son Thijs. The older sons Simon and Govert are not allowed to leave the house without Nel's permission, because then they will lose their inheritance of one million. Thijs is the only one who can dispose of his inheritance without conditions, but his childhood also keeps him in the parental home. In between touching women, civil-law notary Henk Born manages the family fortune in a dubious manner. Simon is involved in writing, making intellectual jokes and also groping women. Govert tries to set up a thriving computer company. Thijs is mainly concerned with childish whims, eating and being the victim of older men who like boys.
