In this six-part Netflix documentary, we follow Gordon Ramsay as he opens five new restaurants in London. Instead of the usual competition formats, you get an unfiltered glimpse behind the scenes of his life as a top chef, entrepreneur, and family man. What feels genuine and sincere is the way his workload and ambitions are shown. It becomes clear how much goes into such a large project, while he also tries to be present at home. The result is an energetic, surprisingly personal series that captivated me from beginning to end.

one long advertorial for the Gordon Ramsay empire.
The domestic scenes seem carefully orchestrated to me, because it soon becomes clear that Gordon is away from home a lot and for long periods of time.
I understand where his drive comes from today, he explains, but when is it enough?
How many Michelin stars and how many restaurants do you want?
I don't understand this hunger for more and more.
