Sōkō Kihei Botomuzu plot

The end of the 100-year war between the planets Bavalant and Melkia is in sight when the Melkian Empire is forced to agree to a ceasefire. Soldier Chirico Cuvie of the Red Shoulder Battalion refuses to give up, however, and relies on his gigantic Votom robot to turn the tide. This, however, draws him into a secret mission, forcing him to escape and survive on what remains of his war-torn home planet.
