Suramu Danku plot
Sakuragi Hanamichi, a hooligan and first-year student at Shohoku High School, is unlucky in love. In order to impress Haruko, he joins the school's basketball team. Despite his height and athleticism, it seems clear that he has no genuine interest in the sport. He is still a novice, and his hot-tempered attitude initially causes friction within the team. However, his determination to continue training will give him a new appreciation for basketball. Thanks to his resilience, the team will reach new heights and aim for the national championship.
