Fantastic documentary about the cause, course and aftermath of the Vietnam War, focusing in particular on the difference between what the American government claimed and what was in reality.
Through interviews with those involved, from soldiers to photographers and female freedom fighters to orphans, a compelling picture is given of the enormous misery caused by this war. As far as I am concerned, more attention should have been paid to the disgusting policies of Nixon and Kissinger, but of course there is a time limit.
An absolute must for history buffs, but should actually be required reading for everyone.

Watched the first two episodes and immediately gave them 5*****.
Insanely detailed documentary series.
To my surprise I see that two previous Turning Point docu series have already been made, I will definitely watch these as well.
This is on the same level as "the world at war" WW2 docu...
Huge amount of visual material with very good depth and background information.
A must see for any war/history buff...
