Ava is Stockholm's most successful and renowned relationship therapist. She always knows how to give the right advice. However, no one knows that she has a gift, except her best friend Mikaela. When she puts her hand on someone's chest, she sees their future love life. She herself has sworn off love because she has seen so much go wrong. Until she meets John.

By placing her hand on the heart region, relationship therapist Ava (Sara Shirpey - Top Dog, State of Happiness) sees the client's future in love in a vision. Very useful for a therapist, but a rather artificial and infantile concept. Moreover, it adds little to the story of screenwriter Lina Åström. Out of Touch is a light Swedish comedy, comparable to Kärlek & Anarki; love walks along well-trodden paths. Out of Touch lacks salt and pepper and cannot convince due to a lack of drama.
