The Ex-Wife plot

The four-part British miniseries The Ex-Wife is about ex-partner Jen - played by Janet Montgomery - who behaves rather pushy in the new relationship of Jack (Tom Mison) and Tasha (Belgian actress Celine Buckens). At least that's how the trouble begins. The scenario quickly takes all kinds of twists and turns that do not enhance credibility. Thematically we soon arrive at series such as The Nest, Cheat, Doctor Foster and Liar.
But that's where the comparison immediately ends. The Ex-Wife is not a good series; there is no drama, no tension and the acting - especially from Buckens - is substandard. Is there nothing good then? Anyway; the photography is perfectly fine. The story of The Ex-Wife has been told many times. Better and above all more credible.
