The Lovers plot
Janet is a foul-mouthed, hilarious supermarket worker from Belfast who doesn't care about anything, including her life. Seamus is a handsome, self-centered political presenter with what seems like a perfect life in London and a famous girlfriend. So when Seamus unexpectedly enters Janet's world - literally over the wall and into her backyard - they immediately clash. But as they get to know each other better, they feel inextricably attracted to each other.

A complex love story has to be crammed into 2h44, making it a rather 'cutting planks from thick wood' story. Several difficult topics that are discussed deserve some more time and attention.
