Animal Kingdom plot

The series revolves around 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody who moves in with his carefree family in their Southern California home after his mother dies of a heroin overdose. The family is led by the tough Janine "Smurf" Cody and her right-hand man Baz who runs the case and makes the decisions. The family also includes Pope, the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody boys. Craig is the tough and fearless second son and Deran the troubled, suspicious "baby" of the family.

Ieder seizoen wel veel een herhaling van zetten. Acteurs houden het wel onderhoudend. Jammer dat er alleen maar tuig voorkomt in deze serie. Dat gaat wel ten koste van de spanning.

Every season is quite a repetition of the same plot points. The actors do keep it entertaining, though. It's a shame that only thugs appear in this series. That really comes at the expense of the suspense.
