strong.

Black Mirror is an anthology series in which each episode tells a unique story (with its own actors and an original angle) within the theme of the series: the influence of technology and modern media on society. And while not every episode is equally captivating, or paints an equally credible picture of the future, the series certainly manages to ask interesting questions. The way they are exposed is also striking: dark and pessimistic, with biting black humor and a strong sense of satire. And the atmosphere is nice and modern, and the episodes remain fresh due to the high variation.

Due to the great variety, not every episode appeals to me, and the future picture that is sketched often feels rather tendentious and exaggerated, but for lovers of science fiction who can taste biting satire that casts a critical light on our society, this is definitely recommended. .

It is indeed a special series.

Each episode has something to do with technology and the future of technology, but they are all standalone episodes, which I think is the biggest selling point of the series. It is a wonderful series to watch in between because they are all separate stories.

Not every episode captivated me equally well. Especially after the first episode I was thinking whether to continue watching or not. This one did not entertain me very well. Didn't quite know what to think. Then episode 2 which fortunately was already a lot better and which I did have a good time with. But episode 3 is without a doubt the strongest of this season. I really sat here the whole time with a WTF feeling. It really is a very bizarre story that at times could even be called exciting. Especially when you think about what if this were real. How awful would your life be then? :s This was just 45 minutes of great entertainment.

Thanks to the last episode I have to make it a small 3.5 * and I am curious about season 2.

Interesting, subtly disturbing (because quite plausible) vision of the future, in which technology determines our lives more than ever. This first season only has three episodes, but luckily all three are worth watching. Well made, well played and very intriguing, although you are always waiting for a punchline that never comes. Anyway, it's not The Twilight Zone, even though the series does look a bit like that.
