Ik zag de Turning Point docu serie over Vietnam voorbij komen en tot mijn verbazing bleken er nog twee docu series van dezelfde makers te bestaan. De serie over Vietnam was al ijzersterk dus mijn interesse was direct gewekt. Deze serie over de koude oorlog en de uiteindelijke invasie van Rusland in Oekraïne beslaat zo'n 10 uur aan beeldmateriaal verdeeld over 9 afleveringen. Als geschiedenis/oorlog/politiek docu series je ding is dan zijn dit stuk voor stuk must see series. Zelfde niveau als bijvoorbeeld de oude "The world at War" serie over WW2. Waar ik vooral benieuwd naar was hoe "neutraal" de makers zouden zijn en gelukkig wordt er geen partij getrokken en is iedereen goed en fout. Binnenkort aan de serie over de Irak oorlog beginnen.

I saw the Turning Point documentary series about Vietnam and to my surprise there appeared to be two other documentary series from the same makers.

The series about Vietnam was already very strong, so my interest was immediately aroused.

This series about the Cold War and the eventual Russian invasion of Ukraine comprises some 10 hours of footage spread over nine episodes.

If history/war/political docuseries are your thing then these are all must-see series.

Same level as for example the old "The World at War" series about WW2.

What I was especially curious about was how "neutral" the creators would be, and luckily no sides are taken and everyone is right and wrong.

Starting the series about the Iraq war soon.
