Actually, they went on too long. Every new season is less in quality. For the suspense it would be better if a "good guy" played a role of significance. Now they are all riffraff and as far as I'm concerned they can all be shot to pieces.

I have mixed feelings about this last season and the series in general. The contrast of the series - has also changed significantly after the 3rd season. Where 1 to 3 - were mainly based more on fictional realism. From S4 onwards, sometimes even a bit over the top - for our standards. I can appreciate both aspects, but I still found the series significantly better in the first 3 seasons, with season 3 as the highlight of this series. Also, the first 3 seasons - often managed to end well, with a strong last episode. While, the last 2 - consistently failed in that area. Because here too, I have very mixed feelings about this last episode.
But okay, first this season. This season has a lot of strong moments, but is also alternated with a few fairly weak moments - which do lower the level. The penultimate episode was a highlight in this series, which is exactly why I had high expectations for the last episode. Although I also had doubts. There were still a lot of loose ends and I also could not imagine - that all those loose ends - would have a good ending. There are also some sloppiness, which results in illogical outcomes, which feel very forced or rushed. And that is a shame, because this series used to be quite consistent in that.
But, still I enjoyed this series and looked forward to seeing characters like Potlood, Adil, Tonano and Tatta on the tv every year. The series really had some strong narratives and sometimes brought a definitely un-Dutch level (in a positive way).
