In our country, about a hundred people die every year, without a rightful heir known. Ruben Nicolai, with the help of inheritance law specialist Klaas Zondervan, tries to get the money to the rightful heir before the twenty-year statute of limitations expires, and the inheritance expires, with the result that the money disappears into the state treasury. However, these people are sometimes difficult to find. This takes Nicolai all over the world, delivering touching, funny and poignant moments from various family histories.
