First season I didn't really like. It was always the case that there were more somewhat random standalone episodes, but still the backstory of the series moved a bit each season and you learned something new about the backstory of different characters. In season 6, on the other hand, the story hardly progresses and the individual episodes are not original enough to compensate for that.
