I agree with all posts. The interviewer is very misplaced and so are the cameos from celebrities such as David Beckham and Cindy Crawford who have nothing to do with the series and the viewers who came to testify how much Friends has impacted their lives. It's all very cringeworthy! The friends themselves also look a bit odd with their botox faces (Monica, Rachel) and beer bellies (Joey). Ross with his droopy cheeks looks like a hamster. And Chandler is completely dazed, probably due to his battle with depression and his drug problem. Phoebe has aged most beautifully.
Still, it's fun for fans to see the beloved cast members of their favorite series back together. Matthew LeBlanc is clearly the coolest of the bunch and he remembers most of the series as well. It's amazing how little the others remember, probably preferring to think of the heaps of money they've earned from it. Also nice to see the set completely rebuilt. Joey's bedroom, Joey and Chandler's living room and kitchen, the hallway, Monica's living room, Rachel's bedroom, and finally Central Perk cafe. I never knew the cafe was just next to Monica's living room.

After months of viewing pleasure I finally saw the special. I'm glad I waited, and didn't see this one before then. The emotion that the actors felt came through much better now. I also have mixed feelings about this special. James Cordon, the unnecessary celebrities and the weak interviews with fans do take the viewing pleasure down a bit. I especially liked the table reads, because you really saw the fun come up with all the actors.
