In Hip-Hop Evolution, rapper Shad Kabango talks to influential colleagues, DJs and music bosses about the evolution of hip-hop between the 70s and 90s. This season is mainly characterized by hip-hop which I really don't like, in fact, which irritates me quite often. (especially eps 1, 2 and 4)

On the other hand, this is the first season that I have seen and heard quite a lot of news, which of course is not very surprising, but pleasant.

I mean, Timbaland and Pharrell were from the same place and had known each other for a long time? Funny.

The first two episodes focus on pretty obscure (at least, to me) artists, which makes this season a little less engaging. I really liked the last two episodes. Still a nice series, enthusiastically put together and provided with a great soundtrack. It won't be as good as the first season, but since the quality is largely maintained, I'm looking forward to a fifth series.
