A bit bigger and more action-packed than the first season. Especially because Guillermo, as a "familiar," struggles with his new calling as a vampire hunter. I'm increasingly fond of Colin Robinson as the emotional vampire. He's so wonderfully relatable, like someone you encounter every day, yet he fits perfectly among the handsomely dressed personalities like Nandor, Nadja, and Laszlo. The series adds to the original film by further exploring the supernatural world of vampires. For a corny comedy, "What We Do In The Shadows" has quite a bit of its own lore.
