Grand finale of almost 10 years of Homeland. This groundbreaking thriller series tries to stay close to political reality. S8 attempts to make peace with the Taliban. Of course, Carrie (bi-polar, neurotic, but again annoyingly well acted) and Saul are back in some nerve-wracking moments. Homeland is always believable, even when it gets unbelievable at times.
Not all seasons were equally strong, but Homeland never fell through the lower limit. In its genre (CIA, espionage, terrorism) I think the best ever released. It is with melancholy that I say goodbye and would like to see Claire Danes again in a completely different role.

Well, I've watched the entire eight-season series. At some point, you get tired of it because it's so repetitive. Spies, double spies, three double spies. Crazy Americans, helicopters that just crash. It couldn't get any crazier.
