Just not.

Crazy D has probably been anxiously awaiting my review for a few days, so here it is.

I have mixed feelings about this series. On the one hand I had a fair amount of fun with it, on the other hand I have the feeling that it could have been a lot more.

The story is quite standard, a group of friends who have started a ghost club and who go hunting for the corresponding ghost in the haunted villa.

The clichés are also regularly used, but in a light-hearted and slightly comical way. That works quite nicely.

Yet it never gets exciting or scary. It might be more like a Mystery/Thriller than Horror, although it got nice and bloody every now and then. The atmosphere is good and the actors play well.

Using the green screen at times does look a bit cheap.

I'm debating between a 2.5* and a 3*. Because I still find it a bit too soft here and there, I choose the 2.5 *.

Entertaining and 'amusing'. I think the series is more for kids. The story is good and the acting is pretty good. The tension just didn't get off the ground. Indeed rather mystery and thriller as ZZ TOP calls it.

The typewriter, by the way, looked much nicer than the one I'd ever found in the attic. ?
