The High Chaparral plot

The High Chaparral follows the life of Big John Cannon who runs a ranch in Arizona with his brother Buck and son Billy Blue. Billy Blue's mother has died and Big John later marries Victoria, daughter of the powerful Don Sebastián Montoya. After their marriage, Victoria's brother, Manolito, also comes to live on the ranch. They have their hands full with all the work that needs to be done. In addition, they will also have to keep the peace with the Apache Indians.
