Sarah has always been an outcast. She has no parents, no family. She lives on the street and earns money by stealing. One day she sees a young woman on the train platform who looks exactly like her. When the woman commits suicide by jumping in front of the oncoming train, Sarah is in shock. But then she sees an opportunity, a way out of her problems. Sarah assumes the identity of the deceased woman. Suddenly she has a life, a house, money and even a boyfriend. But then she makes a shocking discovery: she and the deceased young woman are clones. Sarah becomes embroiled in a deadly conspiracy where she cannot trust anyone. Are there more like them?

Dit tweede seizoen gaat vrolijk verder waar seizoen 1 ophield. De verwikkelingen zijn nog altijd boeiend genoeg. Tatiana Maslany zet weer een prima prestatie neer en ook nieuwe toevoeging Michiel Huisman doet het zeker niet verkeerd. Naar mate het seizoen vordert wordt het toch allemaal een stukje minder. Het geweld neemt toe en de spanning neemt af. Lang niet alle verhaallijnen zijn nog even boeiend en het SF element in de serie is voor mij niet interessant genoeg. Omdat ik seizoen 1 in een ruk heb uitgekeken heb ik toch doorgezet. De humor en de bij vlagen interessante verwikkelingen zijn er nog steeds maar het wordt allemaal steeds meer gekunsteld en geforceerd. Omdat de uitvoering nog steeds goed is, toch nog een ruime voldoende, maar tegen het einde vreesde ik het ergste voor seizoen 3 en dat is helaas ook uitgekomen.

This second season happily picks up where season 1 left off. The complications are still interesting enough. Tatiana Maslany once again put in a great performance and new addition Michiel Huisman is certainly not wrong.

As the season progresses, it all gets a bit less. The violence increases and the tension decreases. Not all storylines are equally interesting and the SF element in the series is not interesting enough for me.

Because I watched season 1 in one go, I continued. The humor and the occasionally interesting complications are still there but it all becomes more and more artificial and forced.

Because the execution is still good, still a good enough, but towards the end I feared the worst for season 3 and unfortunately it came true.
