This is exactly what I like: a series full of mystery and questions. I started this series with not too many expectations and am quite excited. The alternation between the present and the flashbacks makes for a unique series and these storylines complement each other perfectly. Unfortunately, I have to say that the tension is a bit off when the storylines come together around episode 10. And what a surprising cliffhanger.
Viola Davis is really great! Unfortunately, the other actors (and especially the students) don't really impress. Especially Alfred Enoch's character is not fascinating at all. The pace of the series and the images, on the other hand, ensure a high quality series.
Unfortunately, a second season of How to Get Away With Murder won't be on Netflix until early 2017 and I'm too lazy to download, but I'm really looking forward to the sequel. 4*
