Jennifer Aniston has urged her fans to donate any money they can to The Matthew Perry Foundation.
Last month, emergency services responded to a 911 call at Perry's home and found him unresponsive. He apparently drowned while in his hot tub.
There was no foul play involved.
The news came as a devastating blow to his family, friends and the millions of fans Friends, one of the greatest sitcoms in history.
Perry became a comedy legend thanks to his role as the sharp-witted Chandler Bing. His memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, was released towards the end of last year.
In it, he detailed his troubles with drug addiction, alcoholism and depression. He has always been a mental health and addiction therapy advocate, and that kind of work will happen at the new charity - The Matthew Perry Foundation - which was established not long after his death.
"In the spirit of Matthew Perry's enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction, we embark on a journey to honor his legacy by establishing the Matthew Perry Foundation, guided by his own words and experiences, and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible," the foundation's first statement read.
Aniston wrote on Instagram: "For #GivingTuesday please join me and Matty's family in supporting his foundation - which is working to help those suffering with addiction. He would have been grateful for the love."
Jennifer Aniston's tribute to Matthew Perry
Aniston, his Friends co-star, recently took to Instagram to finally pay tribute to her pal.
"Oh boy this one has cut deep... Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I've never experienced before," she wrote.
"We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love.
"Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep. And we loved him deeply. He was such a part of our DNA. We were always the six of us. This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be.
"Matty, I love you so much and I know you are now completely at peace and out of any pain. I talk to you every day... sometimes I can almost hear you saying 'Could you BE any crazier?' Rest little brother. You always made my day."
Aniston accompanied the post with pictures of her and Perry on the set of Friends, as well as a text which he recently sent her, which you can see below.
