The first trailer has been released for Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off, Knuckles.
The character was introduced in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the events of the TV show take place between the events of number two and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 which will be released in 2024.
The official premise of Knuckles:
'Taking place between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the series follows Knuckles the Echidna as he trains deputy sheriff Wade Whipple in the ways of the Echidna warrior.'
Idris Elba voices Knuckles while Ben Schwartz and Colleen O'Shaughnessey will feature as Sonic and Tails respectively.
Adam Pally, Cary Elwes, Edi Patterson, Stockard Channing, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi and Ellie Taylor co-star.
