George Clooney had an epic response when asked if he would ever return as Batman.
In 1997, Clooney played Bruce Wayne in Batman & Robin. Unfortunately for the actor, the movie is widely considered to be one of the worst of all time and certainly the worst Batman film.
Somehow, Clooney was convinced to make a cameo appearance as Bruce in a post-credits scene in The Flash.
It raised some questions as to whether he could return as Batman again, but that won't be happening.
When asked if he might play the Caped Crusader in the future, he responded to Entertainment Tonight:
"I don't think there's enough drugs in the world (to convince me)."
The Boys in the Boat
Clooney is currently promoting The Boys in the Boat, a new historical sports drama.
The movie is based on the novel of the same name and tells the story of the American Olympic rowing team and their efforts to win gold in the 1936 Olympics up against the might of the German team, with Adolf Hitler present at the games.
The official premise reads:
'The non-fiction novel describes the University of Washington crew that represented the United States in the Men's eight at the 1936 Summer Olympic games in Berlin, including the coaches, boatbuilder George Pocock, and the working class student athletes involved, especially rower Joe Rantz, who was effectively abandoned by his family and left to fend for himself at a young age.'
It stars Callum Turner, Joel Edgerton, Jack Mulhern, Sam Strike, Peter Guinness, Alec Newman, Luke Slattery, and Thomas Elms among others.
