Brendan Fraser has won the Best Actor Oscar at the Academy Awards for his performance in The Whale.
The movie, directed by Darren Aronofsky, tells the story of an obese man who attempts to mend his relationship with his daughter.
The Whale has been credited with rejuvenating the career of Fraser, who had spent over a decade out of the Hollywood limelight.
Fraser won the category which also included Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin), Bill Nighy (Living), Austin Butler (Elvis) and Paul Mescal (Aftersun).
