Red Wolf is confided in a dying man and Red Wolf is put in charge of raising his son. When the boy turns five, Red Wolf puts the boy's fate in the hands of Native American agent Frank Clark to give the boy a white upbringing. The boy, Jack Jennings, later becomes an inspector at the Indian Agency. When skins are stolen from the Native Americans by a bandit, Jennings investigates. He learns that the bandit is only a small pawn and Jennings tries to gather evidence against the man behind the scenes.
