West of Texas plot
"CRASH ADVENTURE TRAIL WITH THE RANGER PALS!...as they sweep the plain with a cowboy refrain."
Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt and Jim Steele arrive at Gabe's Crossing, New Mexico. Tex and Jim have come to arrest ranch owner Bent Yeager. Yeager is accused of sabotage of claims related to the arrival of a railway line. It turns out, however, that railroad representative Bart Calloway and attorney Conlon tampered with the survey results so that Yeager's land would be state property. A third Texas Ranger, Panhandle Perkins, is now active incognito in Calloway's gang.
