"A NARRATIVE OF PERILOUS WESTERN TRAILS AND AMAZING ADVENTURE!"
Elder Sheriff Clay Hartley's son has the wrong friends. He is often accompanied by gang members of Collins, the owner of the Golden Rule saloon. Clay Hartley does have suspicions against the saloon owner, but there is no evidence to arrest him. Collins sends his men, including young Hartley, to raid the stagecoach on its way from Missionary Flats. Sheriff Hartley learns of the plans and organizes a posse. In the ensuing fight with the gang, the deputy sheriff is shot and young Hartley is captured. The boy is tried and found guilty of the death of the deputy sheriff and is sentenced to hang. Sheriff Hartley has only a few hours to prove his son's innocence.
