Under Strange Flags plot
During the Mexican Revolution in 1914, led by Pancho Villa, it became virtually impossible for Americans to transport their silver mined in Mexico to the United States. Tom Kenyon is a manager of one of those mines employed by the deVargas family. During a silver transport they end up between the warring parties, but Tom manages to save the silver by hiding it. Denny, a member of the deVargas family, teams up with the bandit Barrance to intercept the silver transport, but he is captured by Pancho Villa. Tom Kenyon tries to save him, but is also captured by a subordinate of Villa.
