Tucson plot
"THE GREAT SOUTHWEST IS THE ALL-AMERICAN CAMPUS NOW..."
Andy Bryant is a student at the University of Arizona. However, his academic performance suffers from his contribution to the impending rodeo. And Andy has fallen in love with blonde Laurie Sherman. Tod Bryant, Andy's father, is more interested in beating his rival at rodeo than in his son's academic progress. After Andy nearly causes a tragic accident in the university chemical lab due to lack of concentration, he considers cutting down on his rodeo activities and focusing more on his studies.
