"BLAZIN' GUNS IN THE SOUTHWEST! Fighting-mad ranchers battle claim-jumpers!"
Hoot Gibson and Bob Steele drive into Arizona in search of the killer of Bob's father. Bob's father ran a stagecoach line in Egglestone for owner Kelso McGuire. After a stagecoach robbery that they manage to thwart, the two come across the body of murdered rancher Furness, who was fighting a gang bent on driving the ranchers from their land. The other ranchers ask Bob and Hoot to assemble a vigilante. Then McGuire accuses Randall of murdering the rancher Furness and McGuire whips the people up to hang Randall. Bob and Hoot save Randall from the noose. Randall has the two read a letter from Bob's father asking for help. They suspect McGuire of being behind it all and try to trap him.
