Thundering Thompson plot

Sheep farmers Marie Valerian and her father are falsely accused by Bill Edwards of illegal land ownership. Sheriff Brown orders his deputy "Thundering" Thompson to carry out the eviction order. Once there, Thompson finds out that Edwards is trying to get hold of the sheep in this way in a cheap way. Thompson refuses to carry out the eviction notice and incurs the wrath of Edwards, who mobilizes the local ranchers to drive the sheep off the land after all.
