Thunderhoof plot

Scotty Mason, a Texas rancher, goes in search of the wild horse Thunderhoof in the Mexican desert. Scotty takes his young wife Margarita and his hired foreman The Kid, whose life he saved a few years earlier. The Kid falls in love with Magarita before they even crossed the Texas border. He spends more time plotting how to get rid of Scotty than looking for the horse. It doesn't take long before Scotty and The Kid clash in a mountain pass. But then Scotty suddenly sees Thunderhoof and both try to catch the horse. During the capture Scotty breaks his leg, but the trio tries to reach Texas with Thunderhoof. During a blinding sandstorm, The Kid and Scotty argue again, with Scotty being thrown into a deep ravine by The Kid.
