The Devil Horse plot
The respected rancher Canfield is involved in illegal gambling on the outcome of horse races and he is also the leader of a band of outlaws. About ten years ago, Canfield's gang raided a remote small ranch that left five-year-old Frankie Graham orphaned. Frankie, aka 'The Wild Boy', went on to grow up in the wild and his only real friends today are wild horses, including the competition horse El Diablo, aka 'The Devil's Horse'. This wild and very fast competition horse is stolen by Canfield, but he also threatens to lose El Diablo during a lawsuit for the murder of Ranger Eliott Norton. Eliot's brother Bob Norton arrives in the region to find his brother's killer, but is threatened by Canfield's outlaws.
