The Colorado Trail plot

Grant Bradley, an itinerant gunner, ends up in a small town and rescues an important rancher. In return, he is offered a job on his ranch to protect the land and livestock from the rancher's rival. Then it is discovered that Grant is the son of the much feared rival and he is fired. Grant is now in the middle of a war between the two ranchers.
