Silent Valley plot
Sheriff Tom Hall and his men hunt down the cattle thieves who are targeting rancher Barnes' cattle, but they are always one step ahead of him. The mastermind behind the thefts is the shrewd Jim Farley, who even manages to add the trigger-happy Pete Childers to the sheriff's posse, so that snitches can be dealt with immediately. When Tom suspects his girlfriend's brother is also among the gang, that certainly doesn't make it any easier.
