Showdown at Abilene plot
"The blazing story of the great Abilene range war!"
The American Civil War is over and former sheriff and Confederate soldier Jim Trask returns to Abilene, Kansas. Everyone in Abilene was convinced that Jim had been killed. Jim's girlfriend Peggy Bigelow is now engaged to his best friend Dave Mosely. Mosely is now an influential cattle baron, who has many conflicts with the local ranchers. Jim is asked to become sheriff again, but his grueling war experiences, such as the mysterious death of Mosely's brother, stop him from taking up arms again.
