Selfish Yates plot
'Selfish' Yates runs an infamous saloon on the edge of the desert in Arizona. Mary Adams and her sister Betty arrive in the town of Thirsty Center after crossing the desert and losing their father. They ask Yates for work and Yates suggests that Mary can work as a dancer. Mary declines this dishonorable offer, but takes work as an assistant to Yates's cook. Yates turns out to be a tough nut, but little by little Mary manages to influence him and show Yates his more human side.
