Prairie Thunder plot

Rod Farrell and Corporal 'Wich' Wichita have been asked by the military to investigate a series of attacks on the railroads and telegraph lines by the Kiowas. Both soon learn that the Kiowas have been misled by the unscrupulous merchant Smith, who sees the advent of a rail network as a threat to his monopoly position. The Kiowas capture Farrell and his girlfriend Joan Temple, but Wich frees them. After the cavalry arrive just in time to repel another attack by the Kiowas on the railroads, Farrell goes after Smith.
