Overland Mail Robbery plot
The Patterson family is after the Hartley family to get their share of the stagecoach line. They kill Jim Hartley, but their attempt to kill brother Tom also fails at the hands of Wild Bill Elliott. Elliott assumes the identity of Tom Hartley and fights the Pattersons in their attempt to sabotage the stagecoach line. The Pattersons charge Elliott with murder, but Elliott manages to escape the sheriff. Together with his partner Gabby, he goes after the real killers.
