Flaming Lead plot
Ranch helper Ken Clark is stranded in Chicago and takes a temporary job as a sniper in a nightclub act. When Ken has made enough money, he wants to leave for Arizona. A tipsy Frank Gordon gets into trouble with the nightclub bouncer and Ken comes to his rescue, for which Frank is grateful. Frank receives a telegram from Kay Burke, the daughter of his business partner in Arizona, revealing that her father and rancher Jim Burke was murdered by horse thieves. Jim was supposed to deliver horses to the American army, but that is no longer possible and Kay asks Frank for help. Ken decides to travel to Arizona with Frank, and they soon encounter corrupt rancher Larry, Hank, the leader of the horse thieves, and outlaw "Big Jim" Creely.
