El Desierto Negro plot

In an unspecified historical territory - somewhere in the Argentine pampas at the end of the nineteenth century - a manhunt takes place: cavalry soldiers are on the trail of a gaucho who has committed a horrible crime. The outlaw is haunted by memories from his past. The hunt could last for days, maybe weeks. One afternoon, the posse sees the fuzzy image of the refugee in the distance. A young army officer is given the dubious credit of killing him. But that's only the beginning, because in the desert time goes round, justice is a fragile dream and reality is a feverish reflection.
